Mushroom Cheese Croquettes Recipe

INGREDIENTS


  • Mushrooms 12

  • Grated cheese 1 cup

  • Oil 2 tablespoons + to deep fry

  • Garlic cloves chopped 2-3

  • Soya sauce 1/2 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Pepper powder 1 teaspoon

  • Spinach leaves (palak) chopped 1 cup

  • Cornflour 1/2 cup

  • Breadcrumbs 3/4 cup


                           

METHOD



Step 1


Remove the stalks and chop the stalks very finely.



Step 2


Heat oil in a non stick pan add garlic and saute till golden brown. Add soya sauce, salt, pepper powder, chopped mushroom stems and saute for a minute. Add cheese and mix well.Remove from heat and cool.



Step 3


Stuff the mushroom with the cheese mixture and keep them aside.



Step 4


In a bowl combine cornflour, salt and water and make a thick consistancy batter.



Step 5


Heat oil in a kadai dip the mushrooms in the cornflour batter, coat them in breadcrums and deep fry till golden brown.



Step 6


Serve hot with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
