Sweet Potato Tots Recipe

INGREDIENTS


  • Sweet potato boiled, peeled and mashed 1 large

  • Egg 1

  • Refined flour (maida) ½ cup

  • Salt to taste

  • Paprika 1 teaspoon

  • Garlic Powder 1 teaspoon

  • Oil for deep-frying

  • Bread crumbs Panko 1 cup


                                    

METHOD



Step 1


Mix sweet potato, egg, ¼ cup flour, salt, paprika and garlic powder in a bowl and knead into a dough.



Step 2


Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, meanwhile take remaining flour in another bowl and add some water to make slurry.



Step 3


Divide the sweet potato mixture into 16 equal balls. Dip them in the slurry and coat with breadcrumbs.



Step 4


Deep fry the balls in hot oil till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.



Step 5


Serve hot.
