Great blogging starts with great logo...

One of the important things while starting a blog is to learn pros & cons of blogging including making a logo for your site.If you tend to start new niche blogs on a whim and don’t always get around to the little but important details like having a logo created. And also you  don’t have the time & patience to hire someone and wait three to seven days for delivery. That’s where a site called Logo Garden comes real handy which offers free do-it-yourself logos within minutes.

EASY 1-2-3 STEPS

Your first step is choosing a symbol to create your logo around. Just do a search within your industry or for a specific item to receive a number of vectors to choose from. This was easy enough. You are then taken to the design tool.
The design tool was extremely simple to use. You can then add text and colors. I am happy to see a font-wrapping feature! That’s something still not available with tools like PicMonkey.

When you are finished with your design, you can save and download the low resolution file at no charge. You will also have the option of ordering marketing materials that include your new design. Pick up some business cards, t-shirts, coffee mugs or even a smartphone case. These prices are reasonable. You receive 250 business cards free when you purchase the high resolution files of your logo ($19.99).
If you don’t feel comfortable with your own design skills, professional services are available.

While the original .jpg logo with white background is free, there is a charge to receive the high resolution and .png (transparent background) files. If your website has a colored background or you will need larger logo sizes, you will need these additional hi-res files. That being said, it is only $19.99 for this upgrade. Having ordered several logo designs in the past, this is still extremely reasonable.
You only get one free design per account. However, you do get unlimited changes with the high resolution upgrade. Per customer service, you are able to change every aspect and create an entirely new logo once upgraded.

VERDICT

I was pleased with my Logo Garden experience. I contacted customer service on two occasions and received a response within the hour. For $20 and 8 minutes you would be hard-pressed to hire a quality logo designer, get your files and receive 250 business cards.
