In 1999 the book featured among the ‘100 Best Spiritual Books of the 20th Century,’ list compiled by a committee of global spiritual and religious authorities. The book speaks about the incidents that influenced the inclusive life of Gandhi, which drew him towards the towards the spirituality, peace, patriotism and selfless politics.
